Good evening, traders! I decided to make a video this week to talk through what I'm seeing in the markets (Spoiler: Not much) and how I approach writing these Weekly Market Preps that you've been reading for the last year.
This won't be my normal format because I really do enjoy the process of writing and clearly articulating my thoughts, but at Traderade we stand behind our mission to help people learn so I wanted to share some of the things I look at to help me make a trading plan for the week ahead. We have no interest in being a service that tells people what and when to buy; rather, our goal is to help you learn how to make better informed decisions in the markets and demystify the trading process for other retail traders. There's a stigma that good trading has to be insanely complicated, but we don't think that has to be true. By the end of this video, my goal is for people to say "That seems easy, I can do that..."
You're right, you can! And you should! Planning and execution are two totally different things, but I'm a firm believer that trading plans should be simple and derived from hard data (i.e. price, volume, time, and transactions) rather than speculation.
I enjoy writing because it keeps me from rambling, and while there's some of that in this video I hope you still enjoy it and have a great trading week!
