On a day like today when most of the market is red I like to look at which sectors and companies are showing relative strength to give us a sense as to what may be interesting in the week ahead and more. The only sector which was green today was the airlines due to impressive earnings. Every factor I track was red, but low volatility large caps the least, showing a flight to safety rotation going on underneath the surface as high beta large caps were down the most.
